WEK 10: CONNECT ALL COMPONENTS AND RUN THE PROJECT

Activity: 

  1. Continue build a prototype of the project. 
  2. To connect all component in the prototype. 
  3. Run a few tests on the prototype.

Objective: 

  1. To ensure the workability of the prototype. 
  2. To make sure the project works well before presentation day.

Contents:

For week 10, I continue to complete the project because the presentation day is around the corner. For the welding part, I asked my uncle for help in welding the steel part and the sprockets. Sprockets are used for rotating chains to lift the garbage.

Result:

I have run a few tests on the prototype to ensure that it is working according to what I have planned. Some error happens during the test such as the chain rotates very slowly, and the conveyor steel is too long causing it to hit the garbage bin when rotating. So, I have increased the number of batteries and cut the conveyor steel to the appropriate size. 




Conclusion:

It can be concluded that the objective of building a prototype project has been successfully achieved. For sure, it was a wonderful experience for me that can directly enhance my skills and knowledge of making a prototype. And big thanks to my uncle who assists me to build the prototype project until completed.
