Activity: 

  1. Workshop 5 Technical Paper Preparation

Objective: 

  1. Preparation technical paper and format of technical paper. 
  2. Discussion tip & tricks of technical paper. 
  3. Open question for final slide preparation of FYP 2.

Contents:

The briefing was conducted online on 21/12/2022 Wednesday on Microsoft Teams and the attendance of all students that are taking the FYP subject was compulsory. The briefing was conducted by Dr. Punithavathi M. Thirunavakkarasu. Among the things that were discussed by the FYP coordinator are: 

  • Title 
  • Abstract 
  • Introduction - Theoretical background (including literature review) 
  • Methodology 
  • Result and Discussion 
  • Conclusion 
  • References 
  • Appendices (optional)

Result:

From this briefing, the students have been clearly explained about the technical paper.

Conclusion:

At the end of this workshop, students will be able to understand the significance of authoring a good Technical Paper. Understand the correct ways format for Technical Paper. Lastly, students can write a technical paper with proficient writing skills by avoiding the words that are not useful in technical paper.
