WEEK 5: WORKSHOP 2 (THESIS WRITING AND PROPOSAL WRITING)

This week, no meeting is held with supervisor because there is workshop 2 handled by FYP coordinator, Mr. Shaiful Osman.

OBJECTIVE

1. Workshop on introduction (Chapter 1) writing, literature review (chapter 2) writing and methodology (chapter 3).

CONTENT

This week briefing focused on how to write a thesis and proposal especially for chapter one until chapter three which is about introduction, literature review and methodology. Mr Shaiful Osman had delivered a very detail information on how to write a good thesis. He also explained about the requirements needed in the thesis to achieve the standard of degree FYP project. This week was also the last week to register the FYP title. I had registered my title which is "Development of Water Trash Collector".

CONCLUSION

The workshop helpful for the FYP student as the briefing is already based on the requirements set up by the university. The workshop will continue for the next briefing. For next meeting with supervisor, I need to discuss about the problem statement for my title.
