WEEK 4: COMFIRMING TITLE PRESENTATION TO SUPERVISOR

For this week progress, I had already done my second presentation and had decided on which title to choose for my Final Year Project.

OBJECTIVE

  1. Second title presentation with supervisor.

CONTENT

I am currently in possession of the project this week. I wanted to get some ideas for my final year project, so I went website to search. The projects included the use of electronic methods. This information was compiled from a number of different websites. The purpose of this research is to gather suitable FYP1 projects and provide recommendations on them. Following the completion of the research, a list of possible projects for the proposal to present to the supervisor was compiled. Proceed with my project, which is going to be named "The Development of Water Trash Collector."

Synopsis of my project:

The primary contributors to water pollution are the wastes that are dumped in or near bodies of water. It has a significant influence on the life in the water as well as the environment that surrounds the water. It is possible for garbage collectors to put themselves in harm's way by venturing out into the water in search of trash. By using a wireless control system, this project contributes to the cleaning and collection of garbage in water regions. The Blynk app is what's responsible for directing the movement of the prototype. This prototype, which is equipped with a conveyor belt in front of it, will gather any waste that is floating about when it comes across it. This project's objective is to gather wastes from water in a manner that does not put any individual's health in jeopardy. The current design of this prototype is intended to reduce the amount of human labour required for the manual cleaning up of garbage. The pH sensor is used in order to determine the level of water quality present in the lake. The pH reading will be sent to the user's smartphone using the Internet of Things technology.

CONCLUSION

Sir Izwan accepted my proposal and hand me a task to study and decide the problem statement for this project and discuss with him in the next meeting. He also give me more ideas to help me do this project.
