WEEK 3: TITLE PRESENTATION TO SUPERVISOR

For this week, I need to present about the project title that had been choose and discuss with Sir Izwan Arief.

OBJECTIVE

1. Title presentation and discussion with supervisor.

CONTENT

I made the decision to look for the title of my project online. Week 1 I have dedicated a full week to thinking of new ideas for my project and doing research related to it. I have made the decision to carry on doing research for the project that I want to present to my supervisor in the near future. Therefore, when I have finished my research, I believe that I would want to create a project that is focused on smoke sensor. This project basically about to detect anyone who is smoking in a non - smoking zone. The health officer or guard will receive a SMS if there is a smoker in the non - smoking zone. There is a camera that will take pictures of smokers smoking in non - smoking zone.

Therefore, I have proposed to my supervisor that i work on this project, and I am now awaiting his response.

CONCLUSION

Following the response that my supervisor received for my proposal, Sir Izwan said that this project is which many students in FYP have done since it is a highly popular choice for FYP projects. Therefore, I'm thinking of changing my current project. In preparation for the upcoming meeting with my supervisor, I need to do further research on the title that was selected and discuss it again with him.
